I always say that I will apply to more internships or jobs that I study for but then decide hold off until next year. This is out of old insecurities that I won’t measure up to my schoolwork or won’t be handle the extra work once I officially enter the workforce. But I know that I have my strengths and need to start somewhere!

You have to go for it. As long as it’s a job that aligns with your goals and you can grow from it then do it. The word that can happen is you discover it wasn’t a right fit. Then you move on on.
